Ingredients:
- pomegranate
Equipment:
- knife and cutting board
- food box with lid
- strainer
- glass
- bowl
Preparation:
- Cut off the top of the pomegranate.
- Cut the pomegranate in lines indented on its peel.
- Disassemble the pomegranate into pieces.
- Put each piece in a food box with a lid.
- Close the box.
- Shake the box vigorously.
- Open the box.
- Push the remaining seeds out from the pomegranate peel.
- Close the box.
- Shake the box again.
- Open the box.
- Place the strainer on top of a glass.
- Transfer the seeds to a strainer, with the glass under the strainer, to separate the juice from the box into the glass.
- Transfer the seeds from the strainer into a bowl.
